Two Most Important Decisions You Can Make Today

Every day each of us gets to decide one thing: how am I going to deal with stuff today?

What if any answer you could come up with for that question fell into only one of two categories?

And what if acting on answers from one of these categories automatically allowed you to be at your highest possible levels of happiness and create the best possible circumstances?

And what if acting on answers from the second category did the opposite?

If you knew this to be true, wouldn’t you think it would be super important to know what these two categories were and to be really clear which one of them contained the choices you were making today?

What if we pretend all this is true and find out if it rings true with our experience of life so far? And if it does, what if we decide to try this idea out with the decisions we make today or beyond and find out if it really works to improve our experience or not?

Are you with me?

What if the most important part of the decisions we make about how to deal with stuff is our main intention behind the decision: the most important reason to us about why we are doing it? In other words, what if our main intention (or number one reason) is the main part of what creates one result verses another?

What if the first category of answers to the question “how am I going to deal with stuff today?” are those where your main intention is to KEEP CREATING NEW STUFF?

Where your number one reason for doing it is to keep making new improvements with money, keep creating new experiences with and learning new ways of relating to the people in your life, keep finding new ways of being even healthier, keep discovering new things about yourself and acting on your most exciting ideas, etc.

What if any action you take with this as your main intention automatically helps you be at your highest levels of happiness and create the best possible circumstances?

What if the second category of answers are those where your main intention is to CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS TO EXISTING STUFF?

Where your number one reason for doing it is to control or try to guarantee how things will be with your money, with the people in your life, with your health, with your personal growth, etc.

What if any action you take with this as your main intention automatically creates the opposite results from those in the first category?

If we found this to be true, we would want to make sure, with each decision we make, to ask ourselves:

“Which am I wanting most in making this decision, to KEEP CREATING NEW STUFF or to CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS TO EXISTING STUFF? wouldn’t we?
